Manufactured in 1939-1942 for large commercial premises in Aarhus. Palle Suenson was in charge of designing the building and the furniture, many of which were custom made for this purpose. In the same period, Arne Jacobsen and Erik Møller erected Aarhus City Hall, where H. J. Wegner designed the furniture.
